God Is Showing Us What He Is About To Do; He Has Established It And He Will Shortly Bring It To Pass
Please read Genesis 40 & 41.
We read in Genesis 40 of the account about the chief butler and the chief baker who were servants to Pharaoh king of Egypt. The two men had offended Pharaoh and so Pharaoh had the two locked up in prison in the same place where Joseph was bound. While in prison the two men each had a dream in the same night. Joseph offered to interpret their dreams. First Joseph interpreted the chief butler’s dream. Joseph declared in verse 13 “Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy place: and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh’s cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast his butler. But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house: For indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews: and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon.” When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good he had Joseph interpret his dream. Joseph interpreted the chief baker’s dream by declaring in verse 19; “Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thy head from off thee, and shall hang thee on a tree; and the birds shall eat thy flesh from off thee”. After this we read in verses 20-22; “And it came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh’s birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants. And he restored the chief butler unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand: But he hanged the chief baker: as Joseph had interpreted to them.” The dreams of the butler and the baker were a picture of Judgment Day. The two dreams were one in that they were both pointing to one Judgment Day. One dream had to do with judgment the other with deliverance. The two important characteristics of Judgment Day are judgment and deliverance. Notice that the chief baker was hung from a tree, which is a picture of
being under the curse of God (ref. Gal. 3:13). Notice also that the time of judgment/deliverance occurred on Pharaoh’s birthday. Pharaoh here typifies Christ in that Christ is the one that brings judgment/deliverance. And Pharaoh’s birthday or Christ birthday falls on Judgment Day because Christ was the first one born from the dead (ref. Col. 1:18) as a result of experiencing Judgment Day on behalf of all of the elect from before the foundation of the world. Therefore spiritually that would make Judgment Day Christ birthday. After three days the butler was delivered and after three days the baker was judged. This reminds us of the three days and three nights that Jesus spent in the heart of the earth again a reference to Judgment Day. There is no question that the two dreams are pointing to one and the same Judgment Day. Therefore the two dreams are one.
In the next chapter in Genesis 41 we read about the account of Pharaoh’s two dreams and Joseph’s interpretation of the two dreams. After two full years Pharaoh slept and had a dream, he later awoke and went back to sleep and dreamed a second dream. In the morning when Pharaoh awoke he was troubled by the dream and so he called on all the magicians and wise men of Egypt but none could interpret his dreams. Then the chief butler remembered Joseph and how he had correctly interpreted both his dream and the dream of the baker. He communicated this to Pharaoh and Pharaoh had Joseph released from prison and brought in to see him. Joseph answered Pharaoh regarding the dreams and said it is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace. Joseph then interpreted Pharaoh’s two dreams, which were a picture of the tribulation period. Concerning these two dreams Joseph made the following statements;
Genesis 41:25 “And Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one: God hath shewed Pharaoh what he is about to do.”
Genesis41:32 “AndforthatthedreamwasdoubleduntoPharaohtwice;itisbecause the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.”
The dreams were actually God’s word because God showed it to Pharaoh. We see that God has laid down two principles here. First the dream (Gods word) was doubled because God established it and God would shortly bring it to pass. Secondly both dreams (Gods word) are one because God is showing us what He is about to do. Including the flood we have discovered eight Biblical events that have featured these characteristics. God repeatedly demonstrated doubling in each of these events. And He repeatedly demonstrated that both forties in each event are one in that they are both pointing to one and the same deliverance/judgment or Judgment Day. Just as the forty days and forty nights of the flood are one forty day period pointing to one and the same deliverance/judgment. God repeatedly placed the double forty events in the Bible because He did not want us to overlook this. You see God is showing us what He is about to do; He has established it and He will shortly bring it to pass.
Because Joseph had correctly interpreted the two dreams of the butler and baker he was qualified to interpret the two dreams of Pharaoh. The two dreams of the butler
and baker were one in that they both pointed to Judgment Day and the two dreams of Pharaoh were one in that they both pointed to the tribulation period.
Joseph was a prisoner just as we the elect are prisoners in this sin cursed world waiting to be freed into the kingdom of heaven. And what released Joseph from prison? The ability to correctly interpret the dreams (God’s word) of the butler and baker, which are a picture of Judgment Day. In the same manner that God has qualified Joseph to interpret the dreams (God’s word), which are a picture of Judgment Day, He has qualified His elect to do the same. And like the dreams of the Butler and the Baker, which are a picture of Judgment Day, the word of God that we have interpreted has the same characteristics in that it features two portraits of deliverance/judgment pointing to one and the same Judgment Day. The two are one. In verse 16 Joseph said to Pharaoh prior to interpreting his dreams; “It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.” As we know it is not in man to know the day and the hour. But through God we can know. All of Pharaoh’s magicians and wisest men could not know but God had the answer. We are reminded of a passage in 1 Corinthians 2:9-16;
“9But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.”
You see even though we as men cannot know in ourselves, if we have the spirit of God we can know the mind of Christ.
The Number 153 Leads Us To Heaven
We read in John 21:1-14 about the account of the 153 fish that were brought up in a net:
“1After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself. 2There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples. 3Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that
night they caught nothing. 4But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus. 5Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No. 6And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes. 7Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher’s coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea. 8And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes. 9As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread. 10Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught. 11Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken. 12Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord. 13Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise. 14This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.”
As we can see from verse 14 this account takes place in the forty-day time period after the cross. We had found earlier in our study that this forty-day time period typifies the spiritual forty period of Judgment Day. Therefore this should cause us to take notice. Let’s take a closer look to see how this might relate to us. The number 153 is an interesting number. God chose this number to impart different spiritual truths for different time periods. For example the number breaks down to 3 x 3 x 17=153. The number three in the Bible typifies God’s purpose. And 17 typifies heaven. Thus it is God’s purpose to deliver His chosen into heaven. This would be the purpose of God from before the foundation of the world through Judgment Day. That is why the net did not break in verse 11 because it was His purpose that He should lose none of those given to Him by God the Father. However the number 17 also represents the 17 years of the latter rain period from 1994 to 2011. And the net was drawn to shore outside the ship, the ship typifying the church. The meaning here would be it is the purpose of God to save a great number out of the later rain period because the net was full of fish. Also 3 x 3 or double threes as they are used in the Bible point to Judgment Day. For example we read in Matthew 12:40 that Christ spent three days and three nights in the heart of the earth a picture of Judgment Day that Christ experienced from before the foundation of the world. It is also interesting that Jesus went to the cross in 33 AD (a double three) to demonstrate the fact that He endured Judgment Day on behalf of the elect from before the foundation of the world. In this case the double three would typify judgment and the number 17 would typify heaven or deliverance because heaven is where the elect are to be delivered. Notice that we have both judgment and deliverance, which are the characteristics of the time that we are currently living in Judgment Day, a time when the elect are delivered into heaven and the unsaved are judged. And this could certainly apply in our time because we find that this account took place in the spiritual forty-day period after the cross. The number 153 is also equal to the sum of integers 1 through 17. That is
1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10+11+12+13+14+15+16+17=153. We know that the last number in this series the number 17 typifies heaven in the Bible. It can be observed that this series of numbers 1 to 17 are leading upward one step at a time until the number 17 or heaven is reached. We can therefore see that the number 153 is a number that is spiritually leading us to heaven. That is the number 153 is leading the elect (those fish caught in the net that did not break outside of the ship or churches) to heaven. We had also discovered (before May 21st, 2011) that the number 153 had a relationship to the 153 days or 5 months of Revelation 9:5 & 10 in that it was exactly 153 days from May 21st, 2011 to October 21st, 2011 or exactly 5 months with October 21st, 2011 falling at the very end of the Feast of Tabernacles in the year 2011. It wasn’t until after October 21st, 2011 that we realized that the 5 months of Revelation 9 was actually a spiritual reference to whole period of Judgment Day. The number 5 in the Bible typifies judgment and deliverance. Judgment and deliverance are the characteristics of Judgment Day. We find therefore that the number 153 has a spiritual association with the number forty in four ways. First the account of the 153 fish took place within the forty day period after the cross. Second, 153 (3 x 3 x17) points to judgment and deliverance, which are the two characteristics of the spiritual forty day period of Judgment Day. Thirdly the number 153 or 153 days is equal to 5 months, which spiritually represents the time period of Judgment Day. And forth the number 153 is leading us to heaven just as the double forties are leading us to heaven.
There is another number that is featured in John 21 and that is the number 200. We read about this number in verse 8:
“And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.”
We find that the number 200 is equal to 5 x 40. The number 5 identifies with judgment and deliverance, which identifies with Judgment Day or the whole period of Judgment Day. The number 40 has to do with testing and it also spiritually identifies with Judgment Day in that Judgment Day is a spiritual forty time period. Notice here in verse 8 that the net containing the 153 fishes (the elect) were not far from the land where Jesus is. What land is it that we look for? It is the Promised Land of heaven where Jesus is. The 153 fish (the elect) therefore are being dragged or lead (represented by 153 in that 153 leads us to heaven) to heaven (represented by the land where Jesus is) and they were a distance away from that land represented by the numbers 5 and 40, which both typify the time period of Judgment Day. And God is telling us here that that distance is not far from land (heaven).
Like the Biblical events that we have studied the time period that we are now living in is a spiritual double forty time period (1600 = 40 x 40). We have learned from the Biblical events that judgment/deliverance occur at the end of each forty in a double forty period. Moreover we have learned that the end of one forty is a demonstration of judgment/deliverance pointing to the actual judgment/deliverance, which occurs
at the end of the other forty. The two forties are one in that the forty that represents the demonstration is pointing to the forty in which the actual deliverance/judgment takes place. Recall that this was clearly shown in Event #6 when Moses attempted the first time to deliver the people of Israel out of Egypt (the world) when He was a full forty years old and then returned forty years later in the year 1447 BC to actually deliver the people of Israel from Egypt. The first attempt was a demonstration the second was actual. If we apply this formula to our present time we would find that the end of the first forty would have had to have taken place on May 21st, 2011 (the beginning of Judgment Day) that is when we expected the physical rapture of the elect into heaven. We were also expecting the physical destruction of the unsaved to start on May 21st, 2011 and run for a period of 153 days ending with the destruction of the world on October 21st, 2011 – five months later. None of these events occurred physically but spiritually they were a demonstration pointing to the physical judgment/deliverance that is to come at the end of the second forty on October 7th, 2015. Now this is where we discover something really amazing. When we calculate the number of days from October 21st, 2011 to the very end of October 7th, 2015 we find that there is exactly 1447 days. To our amazement we see that it is exactly 1447 days, which point directly to the year 1447 BC. This was the year that Moses brought physical judgment on Egypt (typifying the world) while at the same time delivering the people of Israel (typifying the elect). 1447 then represents judgment/deliverance. Since October 21st, 2011 is tied to October 7th, 2015 through the number 1447 we can see that the 153 days that start on May 21st, 2011 and go to October 21st, 2011 also go to October 7th, 2015. That is the 153 days (five months) that started on May 21st, 2011 spiritually go all the way to October 7th, 2015. God is tying the dates of May 21st/Oct. 21st, 2011 to October 7th, 2015 by His use of the number 1447. So you see our original date of May 21st/Oct. 21st, 2011 for the deliverance of the elect and destruction of the unsaved is spiritually pointing to October 7th, 2015. Said in another way the End of the first forty (May 21st, 2011) the demonstration is pointing the end of the second forty (October 7th, 2015) the actual. Consequently our original five months or 153 days that began on May 21st, 2011 and ended at October 21st, 2011 spiritually point to the very end of October 7th 2015. We also know that just as October 21st, 2011 fell at the very end of the Feast of Tabernacles/Ingathering in the year 2011 so also does October 7th fall at the very end of the Feast of Tabernacles/Ingathering in the year 2015. Thus confirming that the two forties are one. We can clearly see that the number 153 is truly leading us to heaven. We can now understand why God spiritually represented the Judgment Day period in Revelation 9 as five months. Because the 153 days (five months) spiritually run from May 21st, 2011 to October 7th, 2015. Chart 1 Section 1 (located on last page) demonstrates our findings.
On May 21st, 2011 the world expected a physical judgment. God began Judgment Day on May 21st, 2011 but it was a spiritual judgment. In order to fulfill the scripture that Christ would come as a thief in the night God planned for spiritual judgment to begin on May 21st, 2011 with physical judgment/deliverance to occur on October 7th, 2015. We find that we are living in a double forty time period and that all of the
double forty Biblical events that we have studied are portraits of the day that we are currently living in.
A Woman In Travail
Remember Event #4 (Child Birth And The Ceremonial Law Of Purification)? Let’s revisit this a second time.
We read the following in Leviticus 12:1-5 regarding the ceremonial law of purification after childbirth;
“1And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 2Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, If a woman has conceived seed, and has borne a male, then she shall be unclean seven days; as on the days of her menstrual impurity she shall be unclean. 3And on the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised. 4And she shall remain in the blood of her cleansing thirty three days; she shall not touch any holy thing, and she shall not go into the sanctuary, until the days of her cleansing are fulfilled. 5And if she bears a female, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her menstruation; and she shall continue in the blood of her cleansing sixty six days”
After bearing a child the law required that a woman be ceremonially cleaned for a period of time before she was allowed to enter into the sanctuary or holy place. If she bore a male she was to be purified or cleansed for a period of time comprised of seven days plus thirty-three days for a total of forty days. If she bore a female she was to be cleansed for a period of time comprised of fourteen days plus sixty-six days for a total of eighty days. In other words if she bore a male her purification period was forty days and if she bore a female her purification was an additional forty days. The purification for a male child was accomplished at the end of the first forty and the purification for a female was accomplished at the end of a second forty. The ceremonial cleansing of a woman in connection to childbirth as we can clearly see is represented by a double forty. Now lets consider for a moment cleansing or purification. In order for a person to enter into the sanctuary or the holy place (heaven) they must first be cleansed of their sins. The only way a person can be clean enough to enter into heaven is if Jesus paid the price for their sin. The price that Jesus paid was the experience of Judgment Day from before the foundation of the world. With this in mind lets take another look at this. The woman here typifies the elect who are the bride of Christ. The double forties typify the time of cleansing. And the cleansing or purification typifies Judgment Day. The woman (the elect) had to pass through Judgment Day (this was done through Christ), which is represented by the double forty time period in order to be purified or qualified to enter into the kingdom of heaven. This is a very simple illustration of how God uses the double forties to represent the time period of Judgment Day. The two forties are one in that they are both pointing to one and the same cleansing or Judgment Day. God does not pay twice as much for the sins of a woman then a man the payment is all the same payment. Thus the two are one just as the forty days and forty nights of the flood are
one forty day period. God is demonstrating through this that the purification that enables us to enter into the kingdom of heaven is represented by a double forty period of judgment. God does all the work in saving us. Therefore like our physical birth the completion of our birth into the kingdom of heaven is all the work of God. We had no choice in the matter. Now that we have seen how God relates childbirth to Judgment Day lets take a look at some other verses related to childbirth.
We read in 1Thessalonians 5:1-9;
“1But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 6Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 7For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 8But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 9For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,”
God here again relates childbirth with Judgment Day. But in this particular case God is likening the experience of the unsaved to that of a woman in travail. The unsaved have no covering for their sins and so they will have to bear the penalty for their own sins. We know that an expectant mother is with child for forty weeks. From the end of her last monthly to the birth of her child is forty weeks. God set up the mechanics for this. He created women to be with child forty weeks. And at what time does the woman travail with child? At the end of the forty week period when the child is delivered. After May 21st, 2011 the world proclaimed peace and safety because they did not see a physical judgment. However unknown to the world was the fact that Jesus did come in spiritual judgment and only the elect could see this through the Bible. As a result the world is now rejoicing and saying peace and safety but the Bible states that sudden destruction will come upon them as travail upon a woman with child. And the time in which a woman travails with child is at the end of a forty week period. This as we can see matches our findings that Judgment Day will occur at the end of a spiritual forty period. God will bring physical destruction at the end of the spiritual forty or sixteen hundred day (40×40) period of Judgment Day. On October 7th, 2015 the rapture and the destruction of this world will come upon the unsaved suddenly and like the woman in travail they shall not escape. The child (the elect) will be delivered. This time period is very difficult for the elect of God. We are very much saddened because we have loved ones that are not saved. We are burdened with the fact that God is no longer saving during this time. We do not wish to see anyone suffer and we realize that if it were not for God’s salvation we also would be under the judgment of God. We are also very sorrowful of the fact that we were not taken up in the rapture to be with God as we expected on May 21st, 2011. Many in this world hate us for our trust in the Bible. We are looked at as being crazy
for our belief that Christ will return on October 7th, 2015. On top of this we are in a period of severe testing or purification as we pass through this period of Judgment Day. The world however doesn’t see any of this because they are spiritually blind. God remarks about this sadness in John 16:20-22; “20Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. 21A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. 22And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.” In this verse the elect typify the woman in travail. And the elect will have sorrow but that sorrow will be turned to joy once the child (the elect) is born into heaven at the end of the spiritual forty period of Judgment Day. Our salvation or new birth is not complete until we reach the kingdom of heaven to receive our new resurrected bodies. God paints a beautiful picture for us in that like our birth into this world, our birth into the kingdom of heaven will be at the end of a spiritual forty. We had nothing to do with our birth into this world and just like our physical birth our spiritual birth is all the work of God. All the glory belongs to God.
When we go to the calendar to verify our findings we find something extremely remarkable when we count the number of weeks from January 1st to October 7th inclusive in the year 2015. We begin adding up the days and when we are finished we are astounded at what we find. It comes out to be exactly 280 days/7 = 40 weeks. It is a full forty weeks right down to the very day. The last year of this world’s existence 2015 will have a 40-week period. Remember to arrive at October 7th, 2015 we had to add the sixteen hundred days (40 x 40) of Revelation 14:20 to May 21st, 2011. You see God is verifying His word through the calendar. By placing this full forty-week period in prior to October 7th, 2015 God is underscoring the fact that this date will be the completion of our new birth into the kingdom of God. This is information that we cannot ignore. God controls the calendars and through the calendar He is verifying His word. Now this is amazing in itself and there is no doubt that God is showing us that October 7th, 2015 is the last day. But we will find something even more amazing as we look closer at this forty-week period. Now we have found from the Biblical events that we have studied that the double forty time period of Judgment Day represents one spiritual forty time period just as the forty days and forty nights of the flood judgment represent one forty day time period. We know that 40 weeks = 280 days and we know that the spiritual forty period of Judgment Day is sixteen hundred days. When we subtract 280 days from 1600 days we get 1320 days. The 1320 days represent the time period therefore from May 21st, 2011 leading up to January 1st, 2015 the beginning of the final forty week period. We wonder what is so special about that? Well what portion of the total spiritual forty time period does the 1320 days represent? That is if 1600 days is equal to the full spiritual forty time period, then what portion is the 1320 days equal to? With a ratio and some basic algebra we can find our answer:
1600 = 1320 40 X
1600X = 40(1320)
X = 40(1320) 1600
X = 33
That is the 1320-day period represents a spiritual 33 portion of the entire spiritual 40 or 1600 day Judgment Day period. That then means that the remaining 40 weeks or 280 days represent a spiritual 7 (40 – 33 = 7). Isn’t that amazing. Remember Leviticus 12:1-5 regarding the ceremonial law of the purification of a woman (typifying the elect) after childbirth? If she bore a male she was to be purified or cleansed for a period of time comprised of 7 days plus 33 days for a total of 40 days before she could enter the sanctuary (typifying heaven). You see this spiritual forty period of Judgment Day is a period of purification or cleansing for the elect. This is a time of testing and of course only the elect will make it through this period because Christ has paid for their sins and they will be found perfect without sin. That is why the last 40 weeks of the 1600-day period is represented by a spiritual number 7. The spiritual meaning of the number 7 in the Bible is the perfection of God. We the elect become the perfected work of God at the end of this spiritual forty period of Judgment Day. Our spiritual birth will be completed when we receive our new spiritual bodies and enter into the kingdom of God. God is now finally revealing these truths to us because the end has come as we read in Daniel 12:8-10;
“8And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? 9And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.”
You see this time is a time of purification and testing. We will be tested and tried. The wise (the elect) will understand these things but the unsaved will not understand.
Chart 1 Section 2 (located on last page) demonstrates what we have just learned.
In regard to the ceremonial law of purification after childbirth in Leviticus 12 we looked at the numbers 7, 33, 40 and 80. There is one more number that we have to look at the number eight. We read in Leviticus 12:3:
“And on the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised”
On the eighth day the ceremonial law required that the child be circumcised. Circumcision has to do with the cutting off of sins. The cutting off of the foreskin had to do with the sheading of blood and Christ had to shed His blood to pay for our sin.
Blood in the Bible typifies life and so Christ had to give His blood or life in order to pay for our sins. We still have a body that is infected with sin and our salvation will not be complete until we receive our new resurrected body on the last day. And at the very end of the spiritual seven period (on the eighth day) we will effectively have this fleshly sin cursed body cut off as it is changed into a new glorified spiritual body.
Let’s take look at another aspect of the 1320-day (spiritual 33) period and the 40 week period. The number 33 points to 33 AD the year that Christ went to the cross.
Remember that Jesus ministry here on earth started with a forty day period and ended with a forty day period? First Jesus went into the wilderness to be tested of Satan forty days and forty nights. After this forty day period Jesus preached the Gospel up until He went to the cross in 33AD. He then returned after the cross for forty days and was raptured into heaven at the end of this period. Do you see a matching pattern here to our day? At the end of the first forty – May 21st, 2011 (End of Jesus forty day period in the wilderness) began the spiritual time period, which ended at spiritual 33 (33AD). Following this we have a period of forty weeks (Jesus appears to the apostles forty days after the cross) ending in the rapture of the elect into heaven (at the end of the forty days Jesus is raptured into heaven). You see God is demonstrating through this that in like manner to Christ we also will be raptured into heaven at the end of this spiritual forty period (40 weeks). God is showing us that because Jesus has arisen we also will arise in the last day – October 7th, 2015. This reminds me of Romans 6:5: “For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:” We have to be amazed at how God has put all of this together so that it fits perfectly into place with all of the other time information that He has revealed to us. Chart 1 Section 2 (located on last page) demonstrates what we have just learned.
The Judgment Day Experience That The Unsaved Will Experience Is Modeled After The Judgment Day Experience Of Christ
Judgment Day is made up of a spiritual judgment and a physical judgment in which the physical points to the spiritual and the spiritual points to the physical. Just as Judgment Day at the cross (the physical demonstration) points to the spiritual Judgment Day that Christ experienced from before the foundation of the world and vice versa. The two (the spiritual and physical judgments) are one in that they make up one Judgment Day. What we have found therefore is that the Judgment Day that we are currently in is modeled after the Judgment Day experience of Christ in that it consists of a spiritual and physical judgment where the physical points to the spiritual and the spiritual points to the physical. This is understandable when you realize that God is making the unsaved undergo the exact same experience that Christ did. That is the unsaved like Christ will be will be experiencing both a spiritual and physical judgment. And that makes sense considering the unsaved will have to make the same payment for sin that Christ made because they did not have
Christ as a stand in to pay for their sins. We can now see that like Christ the unsaved will undergo a period of time when they will be under spiritual judgment a time when they will receive spiritual death. Followed by a period of physical judgment when they like Jesus will have to undergo a period of shame followed by physical death.
We read in Isaiah 53:5; “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”
The stripes that Jesus received for our transgressions typify the Judgment Day that Jesus experienced from before the foundation of the world. The same stripes or judgment will be experienced by the unsaved during the spiritual forty time period of Judgment Day.
We read more regarding stripes in Deuteronomy 25:1-3;
“1If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked. 2And it shall be, if the wicked man be worthy to be beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be beaten before his face, according to his fault, by a certain number. 3Forty stripes he may give him, and not exceed: lest, if he should exceed, and beat him above these with many stripes, then thy brother should seem vile unto thee.”
God laid down a law that a wicked man was to receive no more than forty stripes. And this would certainly make sense if we understand that God uses the number forty spiritually to signify the period of Judgment Day. God has a limit to His judgment upon the unsaved. Hell as we have learned in recent years is death. God will not torture the unsaved for an eternity in a place called Hell that would be totally out of character for God. God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked as we read in Ezekiel 33:11. If Jesus experienced Judgment Day for a period signified by a spiritual forty He would not make the unsaved go beyond a spiritual forty. That is the unsaved will receive the punishment of death during this spiritual forty period and when it ends on October 7th, 2015 it will not go beyond that.
In addition we find that the Judgment Day period of 1600 days (40×40) added to the 8400-day period of the tribulation, which started with the judgment on the churches on May 21st, 1988 would give us a total of 10,000 days. Ten in the Bible has to do with completeness and 10,000 days therefore would represent the complete judgment of God on the unsaved world. By making the complete judgment 10,000 days God is telling us that October 7th, 2015 is the completion of judgment.
God has given us another wonderful proof. And that is that the last year of this world’s existence will consist of only forty weeks to the very day. Our salvation or new birth is not complete until we are raised up into the kingdom of heaven to receive our new resurrected bodies. God paints a beautiful picture for us in that just like our birth into this world, our birth into the kingdom of heaven will be at the very end of a forty week period when we are raised up. Remember that four times in
John 6 God made the statement that He will raise the elect up at the last day? With all of the Biblical evidence that God has given us we can be sure that God does not have another time period in store after October 7th, 2015.
The Sign Of The Prophet Jonah Is A Sign To Us
We read in Matthew 12:38-41;
“38Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. 39But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: 40For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 41The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.”
We read here that it is an evil and adulterous generation that seeks after a sign. The evil and adulterous generation represents the unsaved of the world that refuse to believe God’s word and so the truth of God’s word is hidden from them. God’s word is spiritual in nature and the only way to understand it is if God opens our eyes to it. As a result the unbelievers cannot see the spiritual they can only see the physical. That is why they require a physical sign. God goes on to say in this passage that no sign will be given to the unsaved but the sign of the prophet Jonas. What could this sign be referring to? We get our answer in verse 40 “For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” God here is speaking about the judgment that Christ experienced to pay for the sins of the elect. This same judgment that Jesus experienced from before the foundation of the world will be experienced by the unsaved at Judgment Day. So the sign that God is referring to is Judgment Day. God goes on to say that the men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment and condemn the evil generation. Who will rise in judgment in the last day? The elect will rise in judgment. Therefore the people of Nineveh represent the elect. And it is the elect that believe God’s word when God says He is going to do something. In addition we see that the people of Nineveh represent those outside of Israel that is those outside of the churches and congregations.
In Luke 11:29-32 God gives us additional information;
“29And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet. 30For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation. 31The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon
is here. 32The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.”
We read in this passage “30For as Jonas was (be) a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.” – comments added in parenthesis. The word “was” is Strong’s number G1096 and is used eighty-three times throughout the New Testament as the word “be”. In other words Jonah was and is a sign to the Ninevites (the elect) as well as to this generation (the unsaved). We know from the Bible that the only message from God that Jonah was told to give to the people of Nineveh was the message that they would be overthrown in forty days. And we don’t have any other Biblical proof that he brought any other message other then that message. The sign involves Judgment Day and the fact that they would be overthrown in forty days. Now God has revealed to us a considerable amount of information concerning the fact that Judgment Day is a spiritual forty-day period. We would then have to conclude that yes God has given this as a sign to the elect that He will overthrow this world in forty spiritual days. The spiritual forty days is a sign to the elect. When we see the spiritual forty days in relationship to Judgment Day in God’s word we will know that God will overthrow the world. That means that God will destroy the heavens and the earth and deliver the elect into the Promised Land of heaven. God is giving us assurance that when we see this sign from God’s word, that we will know that this is the period of Judgment Day.
God Wants The Elect To Bring This Message To Nineveh (The Elect)
The sign of Jonah is a sign to the believers as well as to the unsaved. The sign had to do with Judgment Day as well as the fact that God would bring destruction in forty days. However only the believers will see this in God’s word because the unsaved require a sign. When we see this in God’s word it will be a sign to us the believers that God will overthrow the world. So how could this be a sign to the unbelievers if they do not see it coming? Once the elect see the sign in God’s word they will deliver this message to other believers around the world and in the process the unsaved will be made aware of it. Of course the unsaved will not believe this message but they will be made aware of it. At the end of the forty spiritual day period of Judgment Day because they did not believe God’s word, they will witness the rapture of the elect and God will bring physical destruction upon them, which will be a sign or proof to them that Jesus is God. Just like Jonah was reluctant to bring the message to Nineveh there will be many believers that will be reluctant to bring this message. Especially after May 21st, 2011. However we must bring this message to the world even though it will be a very painful message to deliver. No one takes joy in bringing the awful message that in forty spiritual days you will die. It is a message that we will hate to bring to the dear people that we love. However, God commands us to bring the message and so we must.
We Must Feed Gods Sheep
Moses when he fled into the land of Median for a period of forty years kept the flock of Jethro his father in law (Ref. Exodus 3:1). This was the time period between the two forties that is the time between his first attempt at delivering the people of Israel from Egypt in 1487 BC and his second attempt in 1447 BC when he actually did deliver the people from Egypt. This time period is spiritually pointing to the double forty period of Judgment Day in which we are currently living. God is using Moses as an example to us of what we as believers should be doing during this spiritual forty time period of Judgment Day.
God gives us another example of feeding sheep in John 21:14-17;
“14This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead. 15So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. 16He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. 17He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.”
Remember the account of the 153 fish that we looked at in John 21? Recall that the number 153 (or 5 months) was found to represent the spiritual forty period of Judgment Day? Well right after that account God gives Peter this command regarding the feeding of sheep. Also in verse 14 God is bringing our attention to the fact that the time period that is being referred to here is the spiritual forty day period of time prior to Jesus return to heaven. Therefore we can be quite certain that the command to feed sheep applies to the spiritual forty period of Judgment Day that we are now in. Three times in this passage God refers to Peter as the son of Jonas. Although Peter may have been the son of a man named Jonas the word “son” does not appear in the original Greek text. God is simply saying that Peter is of Jonas. We see that God is making the connection here to Jonah who warned the Ninevites (the sheep/elect) that in forty days you will be overcome. God through this language is simply stating that if you love me you will feed my sheep that is warn the elect of the coming destruction at the end of this spiritual forty time period of Judgment Day. God by commanding Peter to feed His sheep three times is emphasizing the importance of this task. That is to warn the sheep that God will destroy the heavens and the earth at the end of this spiritual forty time period of Judgment Day and deliver the elect into the kingdom of God. We will do this if we love Him.
This period of Judgment Day has been very grueling for the child of God. God in John 21 is recognizing the condition that many of the believers are in after May 21st, 2011 during this spiritual forty period of Judgment Day. Like Peter many are feeling very poorly about their spiritual condition. And God is gently bringing them back and
commanding them to feed His sheep. God promised to save a great multitude of people. Although the period of salvation is over and has ended as of May 21st, 2011, there is great hope that God has planted the seeds of salvation in the hearts of many people. The fruits of their salvation are yet to be made manifest. There are many that are confused regarding May 21st, 2011. They could be like Peter who denied the Lord three times. But God gently restored Peter by saying feed my sheep. We are to feed God’s sheep with the meat of God’s word. And as God said my sheep hear my voice and follow me. So it is that as we bring this message, those who hear God’s word will hear His voice and follow Him.
The message that we must bring is bittersweet. We do not desire to tell people that they will die. We do not desire to see anyone suffer. On the other hand we are over joyed to tell the sheep that they will soon be entering into heaven where they will forever be with the Lord. We first delivered the message of Judgment Day May 21st, 2011 and now we must take the message once more to all nations as we read in Revelation 10:10-11:
“10And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. 11And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.”
